A light but firm texture makes this loaf ideal for sandwiches, or simply eating on its own with butter. It makes delicious toast and toasted sandwiches too - the substantial body of the bread makes for a crispy bite on the outside, with a soft but hearty centre. Left over crusts can be chopped up in a food processor and used for a bread sauce when required (see recipe).

Ingredients: organic strong white flour, organic semi-skimmed milk,
yeast, salt, organic sunflower oil
