An old-fashioned teatime treat, this cake is warm and spicy … with a full bodied ginger kick! A combination of black treacle and muscovado sugar make for a dark, rich gingerbread. As with all our Risen products, this gingerbread is home-baked using only high quality ingredients and no preservatives. Leave this cake to mature for at least three days after baking, so that its sticky ginger loveliness has a chance to develop even more…if you can wait that long. Our sticky gingerbread is also suitable for home freezing.

Ingredients:
organic self-raising flour, organic semi-skimmed milk, black treacle, light muscovado sugar, unsalted butter, golden syrup, egg*, ground spices (ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, coriander seed, caraway seed), bicarbonate of soda
